A "Mobility Center" is a hardware/software infrastructure composed of three main components:

• parking areas
• vehicles
• management system

These three components have been studied and assembled in order to allow potential customers to rapidly rent small and ecological cars for short periods of time, from just a few minutes to several hours, within a city or a metropolitan area.

In order to make available the rapid car rent service in all areas of a city, the project foresees the promotion of more "Mobility Centers" on franchising, each formed by one or more parking areas, where cars are located and easily accessible to customers. The franchising approach, by promoting small businesses, should facilitate the diffusion of the concept.

In addition, parking areas and vehicles, capital intensive components of a Mobility Center, will be primarily financed locally.
